Positions Available
Portrait Photographer – Perth
Are you a talented Portrait Photographer? Have you been working on your own and want to be part of a growing and dynamic team? We are looking for a passionate Portrait Photographer to join our dynamic Perth teams. This is a Photography/Sales based role suited to a driven, self-motivated and talented individual who would love the opportunity to lead the studio’s portrait departments within one of the fastest growing companies in Australia. This is a full time role (38hrs week) including at least one day on the weekend.
The role will include:
- Photographing studio portraits including pregnancy, newborn, family, children, pets, couples, singles, nudes & natural glamour.
- Speaking with our current customers and converting warm leads into studio portrait sessions through phone communication.
- Achieving ongoing sales statistics and KPI’s.
- Educating our customers on the Viva Photography Experience and importance of creating professional photos for life.
- Post production
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Minimum 1 year experience in Sales with a proven record
- Experience photographing studio portraits
- The ability to work towards and achieve sales targets
- To be self-motivated with high energy levels
- Ability to work well individually and also in a team
- To love photographing people of all ages

Studio Booking & Sales Consultant – Perth
We are looking for dynamic Studio Booking & Sales Consultants to lead the way by creating new sales for the business in our Perth studios. This is a sales based role covering phone sales, face-to-face sales and assisting the owner in the day-to-day running of the business. You will be exciting people about a Viva Photography experience, building massive value in your customer’s lives and help to overcome any objections your customer raises to assist them book to have a studio photo shoot and create beautiful images for life. This role is most suited to an individual that enjoys sales, enjoys communicating over the phones, loves people and is target driven. This role full time (38 hrs a week). Must be available on weekends!
The role will include:
- Converting warm leads through outbound telephone calls into studio portrait photo shoot appointments
- Qualifying customers to maximise sales
- Following-up until you have met the customer’s needs and booked them in for a portrait session
- Building relationships, asking deep and meaningful questions and learning about your customers to understand why they would benefit from a Viva Photography Experience
- Providing the highest level of customer service
- Achieving daily and weekly sales KPI targets
- Taking care of all incoming enquiries via email and phone
- Conducting Portrait sales consultations where your customers purchase high end photographic products
- Attending events where you will represent the brand and generate leads
To be Successful in this role you will need:
- A minimum of 2 year’s experience in a sales based role
- To have had previous sales training and have learnt sales techniques
- A thirst for self-development to be a top performer in a sales based role
- Enthusiasm and high energy to consistently be self-motivated
- Tenacity to follow-up, nurture your clients’ needs and close appointments over the phone
- High level of organisational and time management skills
- A drive to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall team success
- The ability to sell high end products
- Strong in the areas of influencing, persuading and closing a sale

Marketing & Events Coordinator- Perth
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our Perth Viva Photography Studios. Reporting to the Studio Manager / Studio Owner, you will be responsible for developing successful relationships with local businesses, coordinating and attending local events, and working with management to achieve marketing goals for the studio.
Flexible hours. 1-2 days a week based in one of our Perth studio locations South and North of the River – with the opportunity for growth. Opportunities for additional administrative hours if desired. Must be able to attend events on weekends and nights when required.
The role will include:
- Researching, organising and attending local events such as markets, expos, and quiz nights including recruiting and managing a small promotional team if required.
- Develop relationships with local businesses and community groups to achieve mutual goals including brand collaborations and sponsorships.
- Coordinate and manage all promotional materials needed for events with head office and the Rockingham studio including signs, banners, flyers, branded collateral etc.
- Working closely with the photography team to maintain the Viva Rockingham Facebook page including scheduling posts and promoting local events.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers such as printers for local area marketing initiatives.
To be Successful in this role you will need:
- To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience in promotions, retail, event marketing or business development.
- Given this role will involve working with people across the organisation, the successful candidate must be a team player and be able to work collaboratively with others across all levels of the business.
- Enthusiasm and high energy to consistently be self-motivated
- Must have driver’s license and a vehicle able to transport event set up material.
- High level of organisational and time management skills
